At each storey in the office-building, Gordon Matta-Clark made two circular cut-through incisions. In this way, created were various and large see-through gaps that transformed the architecture into sculpture. It at once became one of the largest cuttings he’d ever been able to accomplish, as well as becoming one of the most important artistic interventions ever in Belgian public space.
