M HKA gaat digitaal

M HKA goes digital

Embracing the possibilities of new media, M HKA is making a particular effort to share its knowledge and give art the framework it deserves.

We are currently focusing on the experience in the museum with this application for smartphones and tablets. In the future this will also lead to a versatile desktop version, which is now still in its construction phase.

Ensemble: 2021

In 2021, substantial attention was paid to core artists of Antwerp galleries, more specifically artists who are a symbol for a gallery's programming. These can be international artists; Whether or not you live or work in Antwerp does not matter here. In addition, attention was paid to artists who indicate the international dimension of Antwerp, historical efforts to make up for shortages in the public heritage. Absolute priority was given to galleries for which the museum had not previously been able to engage with the City Collection.
